Pehli Barish | Episode 29

Introduction

Pehli Barish is a story of love that spans generations, a tale of joy, longing, and heartbreak that seems to repeat itself.

Years ago in Lahore, strangers Behzad and Maleeha met and a spark of love lit between them. But fate had other plans and tore them apart, leaving hearts scarred.

Decades later, Behzad lives a settled life with a family, yet the past never truly leaves him. His son, Maani, falls for Nimra and the shadows of old heartbreak loom large. As Behzad watches history threatening to repeat itself, he must face his own past to protect Maani and perhaps confront the love he lost long ago.

Will Maleeha return to Behzad’s life? Will Behzad save his son from the same heartbreak he experienced? Can Maani and Nimra’s love win against all odds?

Pehli Barish Episode 29 Written Update and Review

After meeting Hashir and Naveeda, Maleeha’s next stop is Behzad. She doesn’t tell him about her cancer, just asks Behzad to meet Hashir and Naveeda. Need I say that I don’t like Maleeha’s stance?

Nimra and Maleeha are moving to Naveeda’s. I liked how subtly Naveeda took a stand for Maleeha and I wouldn’t go into the details of what Hashir said. Faltu dimagh kharab hoga. He’s still plotting something, and only pretending to be happy.

Nawal has agreed to meet Salman, so Maani’s little trick to upset Nawal has worked. Maani, being a nice friend, brings flowers for Nawal.

Nawal has still not moved on, and Maani has had enough of the shitty behaviour he has to deal with. He slams the door and walks out, Nawal throws the flowers.

Koi aise kyun kar sakta hai? Kyun aisa? Kyun waisa?

Arey… Why is she sounding like me?

Episode ends on a tiny, super-romantic moment, and I think we’re done for today.
