Judy Blume has an impressive Goodread profile, check it out.

Recap

Review

Petey doesn’t talk much… maybe because he never gets a chance to speak because his brother just doesn’t shut up.
– Chapter 10
This book has some cold humour, wish I had taken notes earlier.
I like yellow banana with no brown spot, I don’t like sundae because it becomes a goo and a mess, stuff like that makes me feel that this is the author talking and not Karen the narrator but this is the first Judy Blume book I’m reading so I can’t say for sure. This book handled a very sensitive topic for kids of a very impressionable age but it was written so beautifully. I also loved how the sibling dynamics were depicted.

I loved it. Amazed by the writing, and to think it was published even before my parents were born.
