Let’s Try Mohabbat Episode 1 Written Recap and Review

Opening Scene

The episode begins with an elaborate 5-year-anniversary celebrations out on the beach (which looked really really beautiful), I would not comment on the “nature” of their relationship. Just because they are sweet and pretty doesn’t make their relationship halal. It is no different from Zaryab and Zamil’s relationship. That drama shows them in standing/sitting intimately, and this couple Fiza/Zohan are keeping their distance, but what’s wrong is wrong is wrong.

There, I commented on the “nature” of their relationship. I know, stories and dramas show all kinda stories, I guess watching things impact more than reading a story? Anywho… I’m not thinking straight. Fever, body ache, serious homesickness…

Where are my manner? Let’s step back and ask the usual question: why this drama?

Why this drama?

I finished watching Aik Mohabbat Aur Episode 21, and this one played next; the video I watched was uploaded on Aug 5, 2026. I was like, wow! I’m watching a new drama with only a couple of episodes aired so far, not a lot of backlog, unlike Pehli Barish that I started AFTER it ended, 41 episodes. But then, I watched the episode. Mawra was still delicate and lanky, Danny Z was…on the chubbier side, Gauhar was in a rowdy mode, Shahzad Nawaz was…. fit as ever.

Short Summary

Zohan and Fiza all in love with each other, but Zohan’s older brother Azlan is nursing a heartache. Sikandar doesn’t allow love marriages. Seeing his older brother, Zohan doesn’t even want to propose to Fiza. Fiza has an idea: just pretend that mera rishta ittefaaq se mila hai.

And that’s the premise

That’s not a premise that can last 30-35 episodes, right? It is going to drag, like Winter Love. Hmmm…

The characters, especially Sikandar’s, is so old, so typical, so boring… Zohan comes across too immature, especially after seeing Danny Z as Sar Buland in Zanjeerain. Fiza and her family is alright, too “progressive” and “sweet” for my liking.

But I’m in a mood for something light.

The Find

I couldn’t capture the screenshot for the poster shot, so I searched and found something… The drama aired in 2024, and has 10 episodes. A short drama, that’s my jam.

I have come to realize that some channel make short series, like Missing Darling on Express Entertainment, and this on Green TV. It means these people don’t want to drag a story unnecessarily. I think I should look out for these channels.
