Let’s Try Mohabbat Episode 2 Written Recap and Review

Out of all the posters of this drama (there are many), the one I have looked heavily air-brushed, right?

Family Dynamics

Sikandar even asks his wife to clean his glasses. And he’s Hitler. But Sikandar kuch zyada hi polite hai and I kinda find it funny. Also, I love how Azlan and Sikandar talk to each other via someone else. Hehe.

Honest confession, I think Sikandar is right that Azlan is whining a lot. Yahi haal raha toh marte dam tak mohabbat ko rote rahega.

First Hurdle

The first hurdle is good. The families meet. Zohan fumbling was funny. And the whole meeting was unknowingly funny.

Sikandar is very happy. Zohan and Fiza know how to Play Sikandar: suggest everything opposite, and he’d agree.

Mayun

Fiza wants to meet Zohan and see the decorated sasural (which was too much).

Fiza says: main bahot achhi lag rahi hoon. You deserve to see me like this. (I must admit, that was cute).

This drama is super-cheesy, which is alright, I guess? And super-casual, which annoys me. I have mixed feelings so far.

Azlan’s Predicament

He’s trying, trying really hard but he can’t feel happy. Purana wala Azlan toh mujhe bhi nahin milta.

Review

Gauhar Rasheed as stoic older brother and Danny Z as blabbering younger brother… not bad.
