Let’s Try Mohabbat Episode 3 Written Recap and Review
Hmmm… So, mayun function is in full swing while the bride-to-be and groom-to-be are out romancing.
Nikaah happens, Azlan hallucinates about Shahnaz (kafi tacky outfit and makeup on Nausheen Shah, to be honest), and the bride comes home. And a big drama unfolds as Sikandar and Khursheed attack Azlan, verbally and he retalites, verbally, brutally. I face-palmed and felt bad for the new bride. Yahi dekhne aayi hai woh sasural. Talk about “good” first impressions.
Speaking of outfits, Khursheed phupho’s dark green velvet outfit was so wrong for a wedding. Hina Rizvi looks stunning but her outfit was just bleh.
Sikandar’s characters switches between “tum” and “aap” every sentence whether he’s talking to Samiya, Azlan or Zohan. I noticed this in episode 2 but in this episode, the switch was more frequent and stuck out like a sore thumb. I thought addressing people with “aap” was Sikandar’s thing. If they can’t keep it consistent, I am not too happy about it.
Also, Shahzad Nawaz is hamming in this role. His frown and disgusted expression make me frown and feel disgusted.
Now, let’s get to the thing that I liked in this episode. Azlan, his swag and witty one-liners that sting. Gohar is perfect for this role, and he’s the only one who’s not overdoing it. Rest everyone is too bubbly, too optimistic, too bitter. He’s managing to strike a balance.
