This is my second-last order of this year. I’m done buying books.
This one is Umera Ahmed’s Amarbail.
I ordered this book in the second week of July 2026 for Rs 336 (Rs 312 after UPI payment discount). The order was not dispatched in ONE WHOLE WEEK. I don’t have that kind of patience. So, I cancelled the order. Within an hour, I got the refund. In next hour, I soured through the listings for the same book, and got another one for Rs 320. What luck, right?

Promised vs Real
I was psyched for this one. I have read the book twice, long time ago and have been wanting to read the physical copy ever since I discovered the world of Urdu books on meesho.
The Parcel? Spotless.
First Glimpse?

The cover has many dents and scoffs, the pages are thin, I could see and read the words on the back of the page as well but the page colour is perfect cream and printing is swell. What more do I want in Rs 292?
Final Thoughts
I have one last book order, which looks in limbo, hasn’t been dispatched yet… and then we are done.
Until next time, happy reading!
