Dear Diary | 1448 AH | Day 62

Rabi’ al-awwal 3, 1448 AH

I was thinking about the “showing off” scene in Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and I had an idea: I can also show-off, right?

To be honest, it isn’t a big deal if you ask other people who run blogs but it’s big for me, so I’m going to share it anyway because it’s my blog, I can do whatever I want.

Ever since I moved to a different hosting platform, these stats no longer show. These screenshots are memory of a bygone age.

Best of TOMU

This was the best performance of my blog. This was for Tere Bin (after the marital r*pe episode).

And this is overall performance over the years, notice the progress and decline, both. Such is life, peaks and troughs.

Tomu on New Host

Best day on new hosting platform (incidentally yesterday, and therefore updated in second revision of this post):

And this is the stats from the new hosting platform.

P.S. I’m listening to Faisal Kapadia’s “Na Jaane Kyun” as I draft this, and I have a question: how come Faisal Kapadia’s voice still sounds EXACTLY the same after nearly 36 years since he formed Strings with Bilal Maqsood? There are very few voices that have such soothing effect on me, and Faisal Kapadia is one of them.

NOTE: This is part of “write one post every day for a year” challenge.
