The face-off

Arsalan and Meeral have a runin, Arsalan on his bike and Meeral in his jeep. The conversation starts with a casual “compliment” for each other’s vehicles. Their tête-à-tête was so interesting to watch. Meeral informs Arsalan that so far “sarkari” thana has been running on Meeral’s money. Arsalan is a little bit embarassed. So…

He does what he has to do. He interrogates Jahandar, Asghar and Shareef. Shareef blames it all on Jahandar. Ouch!

Later, Jahandar comes with tea invitation from Arsalan at the police station. Peeral isn’t happy about this.

Peeral’s dilemma

Dhani Bakhsh tells Peeral about missing Shaukat. Peeral might be a cruel man but he still tries to fulfil his promise that he made to Noori. If we need a reminder, Noori married Peeral on the very condition that Shaukat is let go, scot-free. Now, he asks that Shaukhat’s news, living or dead, should not reach Noori, warna…

Jeevan’s new “job”

Jeevan gives some cash to his father but both Kamal and Sassi flip out when they learn that Meeral gave the money. Later, Sassi sends a letter to Iqbal, Shaukat’s friend via Mai Barkatey.

The saukan fiasco

Sardari Begum welcomes Noori with a red chador. However, Noori surprises with her philosophical words and the fact that she has nothing to lose, and that she knows what her “auqat” is.

Noori: I’m willing to obey, first you and Zulekha decide who’s the real “maalkin” of the house.

That conversation was so entertaining. Noori is a wordsmith and she is the ultimate baws. She’s fierce and has what it takes to be the heroine. Arsalan aur iski jodi banna thha.

Meeral’s plans

Meeral sends Jeevan out of the jhok, and let his family move into the havelis servant quarters so he could take advantage of his family I guess. Sassi and Kamal aren’t happy.

Noori comes to meet her mother, emotional scene.

Sasur meets his future damaad 😀

Kamaluddin comes to school because there was a news of juwa in school. Arsalan learns about the fate of school, and promises to get some help from the government.

Juma Khan a khabri informs about upcoming human smuggling across the border. Arsalan ready to raid. Jahandar sees Juma Khan and is suspicious.

The raid just in time when the human smuggling is about to take place..most are captured but Jeevan runs away and Arsalan has to shoot.

Is Jeevan dead? We don’t know.

Review

So much has happened in this episode but I really love Noori. I ship Arsalan and Noori, but I know it isn’t gonna be. I also know that I would be waiting for the next episode, eagerly.
