New Word | Leadershit

It was a last minute update on a particularly busy and stressful day. Now, I take pride in my spellings and fast-typing, but that day, I slipped. Without delving into the details for fear of sharing confidential information, here’s what happened: I ended up mistyping a word. Instead of leadership, I typed leadershit and hit enter.

The message was gone.

You know how they say, “kamaan se nikla hua teer aur zabaan se nikle huye alfaz wapas nahin aate?” Thank Allah, that was NOT the case. Almost all messaging softwares allow to edit your message. I clicked on edit, to fix my mistake. But then…

There’s a comedy panel show that I watch religiously, Relationshit Advice, which, as you can rightly guess, is a pun on Relationship Advice. Perhaps my fingers had a memory of typing that, or what it was, I don’t know; I mistyped it. But I couldn’t delete it. The word fit snugly in that sentence, sounded so good, and let’s face it, perfect for the kind of management I have. I think all management is like this only. So, I kept it as it is and signed off.

What about others? Do they have leadership at work or leadershit? I don’t even know if this word really has a place in modern vocabulary, but I got a new word to use. I’m happy. I also realize that there are several such examples of learning new words, so I might continue posting more on this.
