Intro
I’m committed to doing roundup, even if I have to write a backdated post. Here goes for August. It was dull in terms of book reads. This one is actually published on November 1, 2025.
August 2025 Reading Roundup
I must have read some Urdu books unlisted on Goodreads. After that, I started Never Greener by Ruth Jones . Then, I went on to finish the book I had started and DNF-ed in July: The House That Spoke by Zuni Chopra. And that’s about it. I hope to do better next month.
Currently Reading (or trying to…)
- Delusions of Grandma by Carrie Fisher
Started on July 8th, for the third time since this book came into my possession and honestly, can’t relate to Carrie—who people find quirky, self-aware, and sharp. -
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Began on July 21st. I know, I know… “Finally?” Yes. I’m late to the March sisters party, but better late than never. Current thoughts: Jo is everything people promised me she’d be. Also because “Little Women played an important role in The Giver of Stars.
And that was August 2025. How was yours?
