Today, I wrote the opening scene of the novel. I had never even thought of starting the novel like so, but then, I keep changing my mind.

This story is about a girl’s journey–meterial, physical, emotional, and spiritual. She is not introduced in the first scene, but she will be, soon. What’s the rush?
