Aakhir Kab Tab Episode 20 Written Update and Review

Okay, so this episode starts where it ended. But the whole set-Noor’s-car-on-fire plan ended in a tain-tain-fish. Noor gets out of the car, the two employees throw their make-do torches randomly, and run away. The next moment, a police car comes to a screeching halt. Inspector Nasir to the rescue. 

I knew Noor would be unscathed but this was a bit too timid.

Things are getting better between Noor and Nasir. 

At the same time, things are getting worse between Saim and Fajar. Nilofer is using everything in her power to create differences between Saim and Fajar. The rishta aunty tells both parties that the other one is looking for proposals. Fajar has lost all her confidence again.

But I like that she pushes her worries back when Noor takes Ehtesham to the hospital. He has 24 critical hours. Nasir visits Noor and offers to help as much as he could, even promises to leave the bribes for Noor. Rooomaaaanceeeee… Nice scene… 

Taufique is still as selfish as he always was. This whole family surprises me every time. Log aise bhi hote hain?

Before he leaves, he tells something that breaks Fareeda Begum. Yep, the woman that we have come to hate, even she breaks down. Would she now realize how evil Taufique’s family is, and how nice Noor and Fajar and Safiya are.

The conversation between Nasir and Saim is so real. It isn’t very dramatic, except for the loud background noise. Nasir makes sure that Saim thinks about Fajar, and that he reconsiders Nilofer’s actions. 

And then we see the much awaited talk between Saim and Fajar. Fajar is still the sweetest person you would find, still willing to apologize so things settle down.

Fajar says: jo adha adhoora hai woh meri maafi maangne se mera ho haye, toh main maangungi maafi… 

Saim says: you don’t have to apologize, I’m with you.

Love the dialogues in this drama.

Parting Thoughts

1. I loved how Adeel looked at the door whole exiting Saim’s office. He looked like a kid who hasn’t seen a glass door before. Haha… Or is it just me reading too much into it?

2. I don’t remember if I mentioned this before. But there was a scene when Saim said that he would always trust Fajar no matter what. In this episode, Fajar reminded Saim of the same. I like that Fajar is able to convey her thoughts and feelings now. And her question is valid. Why doesn’t Saim believe her?

3. What does Saim do for a living? He and his stupid friend are always in a large room flooded with sunlight. We have meeting rooms like that. Do they have such luxurious offices? Seriously, what does he do? 

I can’t wait for the next episode. Why doesn’t this come twice a week?
