The weekend comes to an end, just like that. Alright, let’s begin the review of the latest episode of Sabaat. It aired on June 14, 2020.
Plot Summary & Commentary
Despite Meeral’s strong protest, the wedding takes place.
The nikaah and rukhsati is adequately emotional and Anaya’s dress is so beautiful. Lately, like for past year or so, all brides wear grey in Pakistani dramas. What is with that colour?
Back home, Meeral destroys all the decorations and sets Hassan’s room on fire.
Hassan doesn’t tell Anaya how evil her sister is. The couple is adorable.
At one point Hassan tells Anaya: tum bahot cute ho.
I want to add: bhai, tum bhi bahot cute ho.
I had thought that Mrs Fareed is quite strong but even she asks Hassan to cancel the reception fearing Meeral’s reaction. What?
It is getting repetitive but it is Mawra again who nails the scene as the scared bride. Sara’s maniac laugh is also pretty impressive.
I know this drama aims at highlighting those people who want to live other’s lives and it is bound to be uncomfortable but this is so annoying. Sometimes I think that this drama is not the right way to end the weekend. What do you think?
