Aye Musht-e-Khak episode 31 written review and update

Alright, alright, alright…
So, Dua is hospitalized and the whole family is gathered around her, even taqi. For some reason, Tabeen and her parents aren’t there. I mean sure, they weren’t happy that Dua chose to marry Mustajab, again, rolling eyes. But then, this is different, right? If someone is on the deathbed, shouldn’t you just let of things and forgive? No? Maybe it is just me then.
Then we see Mustajab who finds it difficult to even stand on the janamaz. Shakeela talks to him, comforts him and then things are better. OTT acting by Feroze Khan.
Doctors have no hope of saving Dua and everyone is weeping and sobbing. Mustajab comes to the hospital and apologizes to Sajjad and Nemrah. Then he goes to pray, goes to the conveniently located “Pray Area” aur dua mangna shuru karta hai. I skipped the part because it was
… Let’s just say it was one of Feroze Khan’s worst performances. I didn’t hear what he asked for, but we all know Dua would get better and get hitched to Mustajab.

Review

This drama has gone too far, and has moved in circles a million times. This episode was stretched unnecessarily with all the crying. I just hope they tie all the lose ends and just end it now. Do we have to see Mustajab becoming Momin, a pious man? I guess we have seen enough. It’s time to end this melodrama.

Feroze Khan… What can I say? I had high regards for his acting, but this drama has made me change my mind. I guess he’s as good as the character he is depicting.

Sana Khan had no scenes in this episode except for laying on the bed, and for some reason, it made the episode more tolerable than it was. Her preaching has annoyed me enough, and it was a good, much needed break from her usual “aise nahin Mustajab, waise nahin Mustajab”.

What to expect from Aye Musht-e-Khak episode 32

More tears, more sloppy acting, more cringe, and I hope closure… That’s what I expect from this drama.
Lastly, I don’t really want to review this drama but some people expect me to, this is just plain customer service, offering content that visitors expect from my blog.
With that, I sign off.
