I’m in Pune!
Yeah, I’m visiting for some work.
Alright, so it’s time to review the fourth episode of Hum Kahan Kay Sachhay Thay Episode. You know that it’s based on Umera Ahmed’s novel of the same title. If you’re interested in the novel’s plot. read this post for more details).
Hum Kahan Kay Sachhay Thay Episode 4 Written Update
Let’s see what the fourth episode brings to us.
So, we see that Mashal is hurt by Mehreen’s words in her diary, and in turn Mashal kills Mehreen’s bird. As if she needs more pain. First Aswad tells Mehreen to get her act together, and now this. Hurt, she accepts Safi’s proposal.
Aswad is confused by everything that Saleha says about Mehreen, but Mashal has brainwashed him too well. I’m sure he’ll trust Mashal over Saleha. Because Mashal isn’t the only villain in this story. Aswad is a villain as well. It’s just that Mashal has no redemption arc, Aswad might, or so it seems in the promos. In the novel, he’s just mean, meaner than Mashal.
Shagufta is such an evil character. And while she’s bitter and hurt, that’s when Aswad makes an entry. On surface, it looks like whatever shit Mashal has said about Mehreen is true.
I like how Mehreen stands for herself, first with Shagufta and then with Mashal. Especially the way she shows the door.
Saleha is the best character in this drama. When she says: enough! I wanted to pat her back. This is what Mehreen needs to do, too.
Enough, that’s enough.
I also like that she’s very sorted in her life.
Aswad makes up for all the shit by apologizing to Mehreen. This boy isn’t bad, not in this drama at least. Usman Mukhtar, oh my god, he’s so handsome!!!
Shameem Hilali is as adorable as ever. From Bibi in Mere Humdum Mere Dost(or as my sister says: Mere Humdum Mere Abba Ke Dost, which is fair, if you have seen the drama) to nano in Hum Kahan Kay Sacchay Thhay, it seems that she hasn’t aged at all.
Have you read the novel ? Or my review? What do you think of the story? I will meet you in another review.
