Book Review: KHOONKHWAAR LARKIYAAN (Jasoosi Duniya #54 By Ibn-e-Safi)

I know, I am not going in order. But I am so tired of the mundane routine that breaking out my own rules feels sort of liberating.

Without much further ado, let’s review a Khoonkhaar LaRkiyaan.

Plot Summary

The story has one of my favourite beginnings. Qasim is chasing two girls, thinking that they like him back. Soon, the girls lose their minds and start pelting stones; hence the title a Khoonkhaar LaRkiyaan. A crowd gathers, Qasim intervenes and ends up at the police station.

Enter Hameed and Faridi. Upon learning the whole story, Qasim is let out; as are the girls. But this is only the beginning of a story that deals with drug rackets.

Review

More than the mystery and crime itself, I enjoyed for the hilarity that Qsim brings. Take that out from the story and you’re left with a nearly boring story.

That concludes the review for KhoonKhae LaRkiyaan – the 54th story  of Jasoosi Duniya. What do you think? Do you like Qasim as much as I do?
