Before We Begin 

I have been meaning to watch Sen Çal Kapımı for almost a year. The problem is, I found a website which had listed all key events and the detailed article spoiled it for me. I mean, this drama goes through some pretty bizarre twists and turns. Besides, this drama has two seasons. It is never a good idea. I watched Emergency Pyar, and they could not maintain the contniuity of the two seasons.  All I’m saying is, I have my apprehensions about this dizi.

But then, last week, I saw a few Urdu dubbed episodes of the drama, and I thought–why not?

Alright, with the basics established, let get to know the cast and characters.

Dastak Mere Dil Pe Episode 44 Written Review & Update

After witnessing Selin lie, confessing her love to Serkan, Ferit has had enough. He doesn’t go home, not even to the dinner with his own family. This is so painful to watch.

Eda comes to Serkan’s home for dinner. We see a super nice montage of them preparing dinner. And a series of romantic moments, but the sweetest moment comes after the dinner. Serkan has named a star after Eda. Isn’t it romantic?

Melo is still looking after Selin’s wedding preparation. Even Eda is attending the wedding and she looks stunning like a princess. Next, we see Serkan getting ready. He looks nothing short of a prince himself.

Ertikan had hired a man Qadeer to find out the details about the girl who was orphaned in the cottage collapse accident.
That girl is Eda Yildiz… He is devastated to find the truth. Super acting by this old man.

Now, Eyden thinks that Eda might be there to take revenge. Ertikan wants to tell Serkan, but Eyden wants to hide it. I don’t understand the logic behind either. I mean, why should Serkan know? And why should they hide it from Serkan? It makes no sense to me.

Ayfer gets a call from her mother. She blames Italy trip cancellation on her mother, but later learns that it was Eda’s call to postpone the trip. Now, Ayfer knows that Eda cancelled the trip because of Serkan.

Even in the bridal gown, Selin is signing some papers. She sells her shares to Mr Effit (I’m not sure if I heard it right). Later, she tells Ferit that she would never work with Serkan, and would always strive to make Ferit happy. By the way, Melo was right–Eda did look prettier than Selin, the bride.

Selin accept the vows, but Ferit backs out at the last moment.

“I can’t marry the woman who is in love with someone else,” Ferit says.

And, then, he leaves Selin in front of the guests and the press.

Serkan goes to look for Selin, which makes Eda a tad bit jealous, so little that it was cute.

Later, the girls are sitting together, discussing the wedding. Ceren senses that something is up with Eda. Eda tells them. The girls are excited to hear that Eda is in love. For real this time.

The episode ends as the girls start cooking in the kitchen.
