Dastak Mere Dil Pe | Season 1 | Episode 48

Before We Begin

I have been meaning to watch Sen Çal Kapımı for almost a year. The problem is, I found a website which had listed all key events and the detailed article spoiled it for me. I mean, this drama goes through some pretty bizarre twists and turns. Besides, this drama has two seasons. It is never a good idea. I watched Emergency Pyar, and they could not maintain the contniuity of the two seasons.  All I’m saying is, I have my apprehensions about this dizi.

But then, last week, I saw a few Urdu dubbed episodes of the drama, and I thought–why not?

Dastak Mere Dil Pe Episode 48 Written Review & Update

Eda hears Serkan and Selin’s conversation. Serkan has asked Selin to stay with him. This upsets Eda. Piril also tells Eda to leave the office and pursue her dreams. This upsets Eda further.

On the other hand, Efe casually suggests that Eda could always take his help when she goes to Rome. Serkan gets jealous. This jealousy game has been going on for far too long.

Later. Efa updates someone over phone.

“I’ve acquired 45% shares, you can come here.”

He’s talking to a woman, so I think it must be Eda’s grandmother.

Erdem has pretended to be someone else to go out on a date with Fifi. When Fifi sees Erdem is her online date, she stands him up at a cafe.

Serkan takes off angrily. Eda follows him to Serkan’s other house. Eda and Serkan have a very romantic encounter in the fabric draped pergola of his other house.

Later, Serkan tells Eda about his plans to be with her. He has bought a house in Italy to be with her.
“I bought a house in Rome, rented an office… I can’t live without you.”

And he would fly back to Istanbul if he is needed here.

Isn’t that sweet?

Serkan comes home and finally Alptekin tells about the wall collapse… Serkan realizes it’s Eda and is devastated to hear that his own father was responsible for Eda’s parents’ death. Superb acting by Serkan.

Later, we see Serkan pacing in his home office, distraught. He asks to see all the document related to the accident. I don’t know what he wants to check. I think this is unnecessarily dragging the plot.
