Before We Begin 

I have been meaning to watch Sen Çal Kapımı for almost a year. The problem is, I found a website which had listed all key events and the detailed article spoiled it for me. I mean, this drama goes through some pretty bizarre twists and turns. Besides, this drama has two seasons. It is never a good idea. I watched Emergency Pyar, and they could not maintain the contniuity of the two seasons.  All I’m saying is, I have my apprehensions about this dizi.

But then, last week, I saw a few Urdu dubbed episodes of the drama, and I thought–why not?

Alright, with the basics established, let get to know the cast and characters.

Dastak Mere Dil Pe Episode 49 Written Review & Update

First of all, can I just say that my biggest dream is to live in a house like this.

Serkan surprises Eda at the mall. Later, they go out. Serkan gives Eda a blue dress, and she gives him a toy, a robot- Robo Bolat.

While Serkan and Eda are away, back at office. Selin arranges a meeting with everyone except Serkan. Serkan isn’t happy about this. However, when he talks to Efe, he is impressed and reluctantly praises the new partner.
“I have no evil intensions.” Efe says.

But I think he does.

Eda plants rose seeds on Serkan’s office terrace. Serkan is surprised to see this. Eda tells about her habit of sewing rose seeds, and her plans about teaching her kids to do the same. She also tells about her hatred towards her grandmother.

“Have you thought about forgiving your grandmother for the past?” Serkan asks.
“No.”

I like it. He’s indirectly asking to see if she’d forgive him but she wouldn’t. His walk of pain back to office was so well executed. Kerem at his handsome best.

Everyone in office is enjoying Robo Bolat. Serkan’s heart warms to see Eda.
“Can we just run away where no one will find us?” he suggests

The episode ends as Serkan tells Engin about Eda’s past.
