Before We Begin
I have been meaning to watch Sen Çal Kapımı for almost a year. The problem is, I found a website which had listed all key events and the detailed article spoiled it for me. I mean, this drama goes through some pretty bizarre twists and turns. Besides, this drama has two seasons. It is never a good idea. I watched Emergency Pyar, and they could not maintain the contniuity of the two seasons. All I’m saying is, I have my apprehensions about this dizi.
But then, last week, I saw a few Urdu dubbed episodes of the drama, and I thought–why not?
Alright, with the basics established, let get to the episode.
Sen Çal Kapımı Episode 3 Written Review & Update
Eda gets ready, Serkan and Eda share a nice moment as Serkan helps zip up Eda’s dress. Eyden isn’t happy with Eda’s dress either. Eda unknowingly runs into Fikret and the two get along well. At least the daughter-in-law is friendly with sasur if the son is not.
Eda and Serkan go around meeting people. Some people make fun of Eda, but Eda’s wits are a good match. A question about her parents makes her uncomfortable but dear Seyfi comes to the rescue. Seyfi, Engin and Erdem are my favourite people till now.
Engin, Ceren and Piril seem to make a love triangle. Turkish and Korean dramas can’t be without love triangle, NEVER.
The whole time everyone asks questions about Eda, but Selin takes it too far under the pretext of being the PR of the firm. Serkan knows now to cheer up Eda. Rje episode ends as Serkan gifts a necklace to Eda and they are ready to join the party again. Looking great together, by the way.
This episode was all about the engagement drama. Eda and Serkan fought like a million times and made up a million times. Long story short, this engagement is up for a roller-coaster ride.
I felt that Eda and Serkan both are very immature and react hastily and haughtily. They both need to chill. That said, Seyfi is still one of my favourites. The man knows what to do in every situation. I also see a possibility of a love-triangle among Engin, Ceren and Piril. I don’t like the idea of love-triangles, but I like Engin so far.
After the engagement, Serkan is scared of the growing intimacy between Eda and Serkan. He asks Eda to stay away from in. They fight and Eda leaves to go out for coffee. She runs into Selin. One thing leads to another and she ends up confessing that she’s moving in with Serkan. Later at the office, Serkan also mends his ways with Eda. He realizes that Eda is a must to win Selin’s heart.
The rest of the episode was just bleh.
After being rude to Eda throughout the day, Serkan comes to Eda’s house with Sirius, the dog, and the two go out for a nice walk. Serkan could be rude during the day, but at night he is a gentlemen. And WE LOVE HIM.
Melo works at a perfume shop. She runs into Kaan. The next day she’s fired from her job. She meets Ceren and Fifi at a restaurant. They spot Selin and Serkan. They call Eda to confirm if she knows Serkan’s whereabouts.
Eda’s friends are suspicious. Melo tried to evesdrop on their conversation. Funny scene.
Serkan is filling a tender at one million dollars instead of three millions. He convinces Fikret with a promise -if this fails, I will join you. Engin, Piril and Selin are also not happy about the whole tender thing. But we all know that Serkan has something bigger planned.
Fikret comes to the office. This is the first time Eda realizes that she has met her father-in-law. Serkan loses the tender and Kaan wins the tender. This was all Serkan’s plan to put Kaan into a corner. Ahmad, Serkan’s financial adviser is actually Kaan’s ally. Serkan is an evil genius. The whole team is happy, but the greatest moment is when Eda looks at Serkan and the two smile. So so lovely.
