Before We Begin
I have been meaning to watch Sen Çal Kapımı for almost a year. The problem is, I found a website which had listed all key events and the detailed article spoiled it for me. I mean, this drama goes through some pretty bizarre twists and turns. Besides, this drama has two seasons. It is never a good idea. I watched Emergency Pyar, and they could not maintain the contniuity of the two seasons. All I’m saying is, I have my apprehensions about this dizi.
But then, last week, I saw a few Urdu dubbed episodes of the drama, and I thought–why not?
Alright, with the basics established, let get to the episode.
Sen Cal Kapimi Episode 5 Written Review & Update
- Selin and Ferit come over for dinner. Selin wants Serkan to sign approval for Ferit working at the Holdings. The papers are mixed up and everyone ends up finding about the engagement contract. I mean everyone – Selin, Ferit, Ayfer, Eyden… Long story short, a lot of drama.
- Eda, Serkan, Engin, Piril, Selin and Ferit are all in Antalya for some business deal. And this is going really well so far.
- Kaan is upto something. He is not only spying via Ferit, he is also flirting with Melo to get inside scoop. This is where I start to yawn. Why can’t we just have romance and comedy? Itna evil plans and all, I don’t like much.
- Eda tries on some outfits. We see some miniest dresses cus they weren’t mini dress. Some I liked, others I didn’t.
- Eda and Serkan swim in the ocean.
- Everyone plays volleyball on the beach and then head to take a dip in the ocean.
- Engin and Piril’s constant bickering was simply icing on the cake.

The work meeting that they have gets postponed as the couple on the other side has had a tiff and decides to separate. I’m sure Eda will fix things as usual. She has a way with words and she has a way with people. She’s the perfect wife material.

Ayfer and Eyden have decided to meet as Fikret wants to discuss about Eda and Serkan. The two women first bicker a lot in the beginning because neither want to leave their house. Later, Seyfi comes to see Ayfer and tells about Eyden’s condition that she can’t go out of her house. Some kinda phobia.

Serkan and team are in a big soup as they have to get a signature from one angry couple. Serkan isn’t happy with Eda who has befriended all the employees at the hotel.

Just as i had anticipated, Eda works her charm with Seema. They have something in common-their better halves are workaholic. Long story short, a dinner is arranged with the two couples.

Eda and Serkan argue over dinner, while Seema and Behlul also bicker. Their stories are quite similar. The signature is still pending but the older couple reconciles. Bhai waah!

Later that night, Eda interrupts Serkan’s work. He shuts his laptop and packs a bag for a night out. Eda insists on coming along. Very romantic and sweet scene at some architectural ruin. Eda tells the story of the ruins while Serkan listens, in awe. And then they witness a meteor shower. Serkan tells how he found Sirius and Eda talks about her friendship with Melo.

While Eda and Serkan are trying to fix the issues, Engin and Piril are having fun. They drink, they dance, they watch the trees. Fun times. Piril even suggests that they should see each other out of work, too.

Kaan is still spying on Serkan thanks to Ferit. I’m sure he’d leak the news that Serkan and Eda are only in a contract engagement. And then Serkan will retaliate to prove that he loves Eda. Let’s see what the next episode brings to us.

Eda and Serkan are late to return to the hotel thanks to detours that Eda had forced Serkan to take. Piril is mad at Serkan, Selin is mad at Serkan and Serkan is mad at Eda.

Anywho, so the much-awaited award ceremony begins, and moments later, the “Eda and Serkan are in a contract relationship” gossip goes viral. Kaan has also made amendments to the contract and added shitty things. The media gathers to talk to Eda. Selin forces Eda to talk to the media, while Engin and Piril suggest that she stays away (I like these people).

Eda does a slo-mo walk away from the people, and that’s when the Prince Charming, the Knight in shining armour comes, grabs Eda’s hands and rescues her. He whisks Eda away to a yacht, into the sea. This scene was dreamy, I tell you. It made no sense, but who wouldn’t want to be whisked away to a yacht?
This episode was so much fun. I can’t get enough of Eda and Serkan. They are so good together. The lead couple looks super cute, and that makes me watch each episode.
