Tabish’s Decision
Chaudhary suggests “police encounter” and Tabish can’t say no. He tries to find some excuse, something to make him comfortable with the decision Chaudhary does a fine job of brainwashing Tabish. The conversation ends on a handshake.
Hafiz notices Tabish’s hesitation and change in behaviour but Tabish insists that they should go home.
Ahsan is very good in this scene.
Mashwara
On the way back, Hafiz reminds Tabish that izzat aur zillat Allah ke hath mein hai.
Now, Tabish needs some discussion, some guidance, some mashwara. Who can keep this a secret? Maa Ji? Sure. Hafiz? He’d never agree to what Tabish has in mind.
Yeh tum ne mujhe kis mor pe la ke khada kar diya hai . Main tumhari jaan lene ka soch raha hoon. Yeh toh tai nahin hua thha.
A flashback of their wedding night kinda breaks Tabish. I know what he’s thinking of is wrong, but I also like how he’s right in thinking that Beena betrayed her. This is one of the things that Umera does best: confuse us which character to support.
Another flashback shows how he promised Beena to never cheat on Beena. Very conveniently he justifies his actions but puts Beena in vitual katghara.
And another flashback of how she was always supportive of Tabish. And I couldn’t help but think: itna kadwe colour mein itni pyari Urwa hi lag sakti hai.
And another flashback, where Tabish got a small cut while shaving and Beena falls unconcious. Maa Ji is not happy about their romance.
So, after reminiscing all of this, finally Tabish speaks to Maa Ji.
“Are you planning to divorce her?”
“No, I’m planning to have her killed.”
Haye Allah! Kaise munh bhar ke keh diya?
Beena’s Stunt
Watching the sky and the scenery outside the fast-paced train, Beena couldn’t even imagine what Behram is about to do but the episode ends just then. We wait for tomorrow. Off to watch the other UA drama.
