Aasmanon Pe Likha
Aasmanon Pay Likha (Urdu: آسمانوں پہ لکھا) (meaning Written on the Skies) is a 2013 TV show that aired on Geo Entertainment television. It stars Sajal Ali and Sheheryar Munawar in lead roles.
Qudsia (Sajal Ali) is a middle-class girl who dreams of a simple married life. Unfortunately, her in-laws demand a hefty sum of dowry. Qudsia’s family were not able to pay the dowry. Her father eventually has a heart attack after getting insulted. Aaliyan (Sheheryar Munawar), who has come to attend his employee’s daughter’s wedding, ends up marrying Qudsia.

Qudsiya’s Fever
Grandma asks Chanda bi to call Qudsiya. They find Qudsiya unconscious, also call the doctor and then aliyan. Natasha leaves the restaurant furiously and Aliyan follows.
“It could be a nervous breakdown,” the doctor says.
Very sweet moment as Aliyan offers to “check” Qudsiya’s fever. It’s moment like these that make me want to continue watching this drama. I like Aliyan. Qudsiya? Not so much. Not at all.
There is a profound conversation between grandma and Aliyan. This old woman is so wise, most of the time. But then she does something to confuse us all–what does she want. In this scene, though, she gently hammers the reality into Aliyan, trying to tell him the consequences of his stupid act of marrying someone on impulse.

More Drama
Shaheen comes to Zaheer’s house and insists on visiting Qudsiya’s sasural with Afiya. Afiya calls Qudsiya to inform, but Qudsiya doesn’t pick up the call. Afiya loses her temper as usual. I don’t blame her. Qudsiya has fever and that’s an excuse but she is an irresponsible person. PERIOD.
Amna, Qudsiya’s friend calls her.
Sobia calls Qudsiya and learns that she is at the hospital. She’s hospitalized. Dado asks if something has happened between them. Aliyan loses his temper upon hearing this question. Grandma crosses a line at times.

The Ultimatum
Sultan talks to grandma but grandma gives an ultimatum: Qudsiya will live with me. She also hints that the same has happened with Aultan as well. Did Shamsa leave because of Rana?
Ooh, things got interesting.
