Aasmanon Pe Likha Episode 12 Written Update, Recap and  Review

The “Moment”

Okay, so Qudsiya is back in Aliyan’s house. Aliyan is in the kitchen, and Qudsiya comes there for no reason. Aliyan insists that they sit together and talk.

Qudsiya: I don’t want to go. You want to divorce me and be rid of me.
Aliyan: what if I don’t divorce you.

Haw! Grandma overhears and smiles. I’m not gonna lie. That scene was pretty cute.

The Funeral

We are now at Zaheer’s funeral. Shaheen is still saying shitty things about Qudsiya and her in-laws. This woman is a potty mouth, I tell you.

The city situation awful and mobile signals not working. There is no way to inform Qudsiya about his own father’s death. Shitty Shaheen, nosy Adil and sweet Amna comes to get Qudsiya. They are not welcomed by Rana and Sultan who say humiliating things about Qudsiya.

“I will bring her,” Aliyan promises.

Before going to her maika, Qudsiya cries with granadma while Aliyan watches. Later, we see him in the washroom silently weeping and wiping off his eyes. Touchy scene.

And then he brings Qudsiya home. She’s leaning on him as if she’s sick. Sajal is going overboard with this character, don’t you think?

Father-Son Face-off

Aliyan: I’m ashamed of you.
Sultan: I’m ashamed of you, too.
Aliyan: It was my fault, why did you punish Zaheer for it?

Ouch! That hurts. And it hurts for real. Sultan slaps aliyan.

Aliyan locks himself in room. Natasha tries to console him but he doesn’t open the door.

Grandma lashes at Sultan, reminds him of the plight of a boy without his mother.

Sultan: you spoilt him
Grandma: thanks to him, he is living here and tolerates you.

Dayem, grandma! You have quite a mouth on you. Honestly, she is the best character in this drama, and Aliyan is a close second.
