Aasmanon Pe Likha

Aasmanon Pay Likha (Urdu: آسمانوں پہ لکھا) (meaning Written on the Skies) is a 2013 TV show that aired on Geo Entertainment television. It stars Sajal Ali and Sheheryar Munawar in lead roles.

Qudsia (Sajal Ali) is a middle-class girl who dreams of a simple married life. Unfortunately, her in-laws demand a hefty sum of dowry. Qudsia’s family were not able to pay the dowry. Her father eventually has a heart attack after getting insulted. Aaliyan (Sheheryar Munawar), who has come to attend his employee’s daughter’s wedding, ends up marrying Qudsia.

Sultan asks Qudsiya to leave the next morning. And she’s like: bhaan… Seriously, all this heroine does is “weep”.

Aliyan brings Qudsiya to her home, family crazy with their arrival.

Sultan doesn’t want Mehmood to know about Aliyan’s accidental marriage. At the same time, Natasha Mehmood doesn’t want to talk to Aliyan.

The family gets into another argument at breakfast table. Thankfully Saba Faisal has changed her hair now. It was almost haunting to see her loud makeup and crazy hairstyle.

This drama isn’t what I had expected it to be, but I will try and watch a few more episodes.
