Aik Aur Pakeezah Episode 7 Written Update and Review
Saman and zubair get married. The bidai was emotional. He’s on cloud 9 and she’s glowing. Ma Sha Allah! Allah jodi salamat rakhe, hain ji?
Half of this episode was just Pakeezah and Deema. First, he talks about his sister’s tantrums in buying a bridal lehenga. Pakeezah lies that she wore a tea link lehenga, and that her mother keeps calling her. Deema catches the lie: if your family cares about you, you wouldn’t be putting polish on shoes.
One night, someone tries to break into Pakeezah’s house, and she’s scared, rightly so. She doesn’t tell Faraz; she constantly fights with Faraz and taunts him about talaq and his second marriage. Anywho, so Deema suggests Pakeezah to leave the house and stay somewhere else, letting go of the deposit. Paisa aani jaani chiz hai, izzat nahin. He forgets his mobile and despite his instructions, Pakeezah goes downstairs to return the phone. That’s when Pakeezah learns the truth: one of the karigar Ghafoor is obsessed with Pakeezah’s videos. Long story short, they pack their bags and leave.
Faraz’s colleague let the keys to a tailor shop for them to stay the night. Pakeezah doesn’t want to do Faraz loses his calm, for the first time. His outburst is paused by a phone call: his mother is no more. He leaves abruptly forgetting to pull the shutter down.
Pakeezah goes to see her mother. Aliya insists that Pakeezah sits down, 2 min ko toh aayi hai, you must be in a hurry. Someone knocks at the door and we see Pakeezah feeling strange at her own house. The montage of her cleaning the room was nice. She then sees her room, hald packed because Asghar didn’t want to see Pakeezah’s belongings. She constantly rants about things, lies, just like Pakeezah, only to cover her pain behind words.
Loved how Aliya took a step ahead and then back when Pakeezah called her: ammi? Very small, subtle moment but really the moment of this episode.
The episode ends as Pakeezah readied to leave but there’s another knock. Akbar or Aslam, who is it at the door?
