Dar-e-Nijaat | Episode 19

PS: I’m not happy with the screenshot but it was the best I could do. I haven’t brought my headphones here (I’m in Pune) and can’t watch the usual way (on my android phone) so had to watch on laptop and it wasn’t behaving nicely.

A new drama by Umera Ahmed. That’s all I want to say.

Writer: Umera Ahmed

Dar-e-Nijaat Episode 19 Written Update And Review

So, after the near-romantic scene on the stairs, Zaryab goes to her room, calls Zamil’s sister and vents out. Zamil’s sister goes to talk to Zamil, who says: yeah, Zaryab ki shaadi ho gayi hai, toot bhi jayegi. On the other hand, Abu Bakar admits to Khushbakht that his is a paper marriage and he’d wait for Zaryab to call it off. Bhaley…

Zaryab comes to see Abu Bakar. He’s exhausted and wants to sleep and doesn’t want to talk. But Zaryab is relentless. So, Abu Bakar plays the two voice messages, one from Zaryab, one from Zamil.

Panic attack, screaming, Abu Bakar taking care of Zaryab…

Until this point, every scene was already part of the teaser, so I was least interested.

I was just thinking: achhi rukhsati hai bhai. I knowwww…. I’m being crass, but that was the first thought. I’m just being honest.

Abu Bakar brings Khushbakht to show sleeping Zaryab. He switches room with Khushbakht.

And next morning, Abu Bakar addresses Zaryab as tum. Itnaaaaa fast progress?

Zaryab, do you do drugs?

Hawwww! Itna blunt? Waise Zaryab’s condition really did feel like she’s high. Zaryab rambles on, insisting on a rukhsati, and Abu Bakar is like: okay.

(Go back and read my rukhsati comment. I’m a genius, aren’t I?)

Review

There’s one fellow Jammy who reviews Indian and occasionally Hollywood content. He always talks about the whole movie being shown in teaser. I felt the same when I watched this episode. Because of this, I felt that it was a very small episode. There’s only so many times one can praise Sharhyar’s looks and performance, right? Looking at the pace at which it’s progressing, I’m thinking some of my 40-episode drafts are going to go waste, and be trashed…until the flashback takes 10 episodes 🙂

Salaam!
