Doctor Bahu | Episode 15

Dr. Bahu explores the theme of quiet control hidden behind progressive appearances. In a respected family of doctors, their youngest non-doctor son is married to a doctor—adding another accomplished daughter-in-law to a household where women are not allowed to work.

When the youngest daughter-in-law enters this world, she begins to challenge the unspoken rules, subtly shifting power and exposing buried hypocrisies.

Writer: Sanam Mehdi Zaryab.
Directed by: Mehreen Jabbar.

Doctor Bahu Episode 15 Written Update and Review

Alright, so Sumaira and Saad are engaged now, Sania is being punished to she gets double shifts, and Salman is told that Sania has “picked” double shifts by choice so he’s in a sadoo mood all the time.

But all of that doesn’t matter. What matters is that Dr Shahnawaz isn’t just a a-hole sasur who’s controlling everyone’s life or that he’s greedy and wouldn’t great a patient even under welfare department funds. No sir. He is also a criminal. We don’t know the details yet but former employee Tauseef (who is also Ashfaq bhai in Sirf Shabana) and Faheem (who’s also Zaira Inam’s brother, Zaira is the girl who’s case Sania referred to the welfare department) know something, something so serious that Tauseef ki jaan ko khatra ho sakta hai. They tell Sania by the end of the episode but we don’t know yet. Drag karenge na abhi toh.

Parting Thought:

I signed up for a drama, a medical drama at max, yeh to bada hi koi medical murder mystery type hai. What’s that novel where four doctors join together, one or murderer, and one of them investigates the murder. It was Sydney Sheldon I guess? I have read it once in Urdu long time ago and then when I started reading English novels, I read it in English borrowing it from my roommate.

So, that was something. I’m not too happy with this drama but I have drafted upto episode 30 (because ARY will have at least 30 episodes for sure) and I don’t want those discarded drafts just sitting there. I have ~7500 published posts and ~1500 draft ones. You have no idea how much content I have discarded.

Fajr time is about to begin. I better offer Fajr and then try to get some sleep.

Salam Alaikum!
