Hum Tum Episode 28 Written Update & Review
Daddu loses his fans
As for the nawa katta of this episode, Daddu loses a few followers because of his video at the police station. That was so bleh, but I am mentioning it here for sake of completion. Sarmad’s suspicion that Sultan might have stolen Maha’s ring was false. It was Maha’s phuharpan that landed the ring on the floor, and…the rest is history.
Now, let’s get to the real episode.
Oh, goodness this episode was EPIC. I told you, when the romance begins, it will be great, and it is, it is… I’m so happy.
Adam is the “hero” in truest sense
Qutbuddin asks Adam about Sarim. As one would have expected (and despite what Neha was expecting) Adam takes the morale high ground and tells his “Qutub Sir” that Sarim is perfect for Neha. Bas, that one true answer wins Neha. She wouldn’t admit it, though. I don’t understand Qutub, though. Once, he told Maha that he would accept Adam’s proposal for Neha if that ever happened. But now, he is treating Adam like his own son and has given him the whole responsibility of enquiring about Sarim and making arrangements for the engagement; he is acting as if Adam is Neha’s older brother. Can’t he see what’s going on in Adam’s head?
Romance takes off
Anywho, Neha plans to go out with Adam on a movie (it’s not a date). They are being friendly to each other which is a pleasant surprise for me. They make a good a team for sure, and they will make a good couple as well.
The romance shoots off the roof as the two become bestest of friends. And, then one scene brings everything together, almost. I’m sure both Neha and Qutbuddin would change their opinion about Sarim now. I wouldn’t ruin the scene for you, but it was so good and so fulfilling. Trust me on that. Okay, maybe I can spoil it just a little bit. Here goes.
Adam picks up a fight for Neha
There is some event for which Adam and Neha are expected to compere, but Sarim suggests some other student instead of Adam. I forget his name, let’s call him Vicky. Vicky taunts Adam that he had been running behind Qutbuddin sir only for Neha, and that now Neha is about to marry Sarim, breaking Adam’s heart. That’s about all the taunts that our hero can handle, and then a phadda begins. Adam’s unreliable sidekick rushes to inform Neha instead of helping Adam. But that’s only for laughs. Sarim, the macho man, doesn’t help Adam. Instead, he calls for security, what’s with being a disciplinarian and all.
So, that’s what happened. I was half-expecting that Neha and Qutub would consider this a big game changer and would refuse Sarim’s proposal on this very basis: “jo shakhs meri beti ki hifazat nahin kar sakta, woh uska life partner kaise ho sakta hai”… Something on those lines… You know… But that didn’t happen.
Ahad Raza Mir owns this episode as usual. Dude is so effing talented.
