Meray Humnasheen

Meray Humnasheen is a mesmerizing narrative encapsulating the struggle between aspiring dreams, hopes and greed for power.

Khajista is a smart, intelligent girl who belongs to a conservative and traditional family that hails from mountainous areas. Her passion to become a doctor stems from her childhood trauma when she lost her mother early on in life. To revolutionize healthcare services, Khajista is filled with hopes and dreams. On the other hand, Khajista’s cousin Darakhzai is a hot-headed and arrogant man whose backward thinking makes him insecure about Khajista’s higher studies and wishes to keep her under his control.

Coming from an educated and well-off family, Hadi is in his final year of medical school and his composed demeanour makes him highly likeable amongst his batch mates. Studying in the same college, Khajista and Hadi’s first encounter leaves them with mixed feelings for each other.

In a dream of becoming a doctor, will Khajista be able to overcome all the challenges? With constant pressure from her family particularly Darakhzai, will Khajista be able to fulfil her dreams or will she remain caught in the dilemma of love and dreams?

Meray Humnasheen Episode 36 Written Update and Review

Without much chitchat, let’s dive right into it.

Hassan Kisi Ka Sagga Nahin

This episode starts with the two villians of the story–Hassan and Aima

Dr Khajista Getting Ready

Boy was it slow. She’s getting ready for the clinic, right? Itna kya elongate kiya scene ko.

When she finally steps out, she learns that Meerab Khan’s car has come under a rock. Recalling the oath she took one her first day at the hospital, Khajista heads to save the man who’s family killed her father.

Seriously, this girl earns my respect yet again. She’s the kind of heroine we want. A woman of character. I recall a little snipper from episode 35.

Haadi: Aap mera hath chor jayengi?

Khajista: Maine thaama hi kab thha?

It’s not just her words. The finality of her words and tone is what makes her a strong woman. I wike her sooo much.

While Khajista is busy treating the patient, her family back is home upset with her. Khajista has not forgotten anything from her past, but she also remembers that she’s a doctor. Khajista delivers some of the finest lines of this episode. Morey and Shanzay both are relieved. They are from the same family after all.

Would this fix Shanzay once and for all?

I really hope so.

Oh, yeah, she does.

Haadi Off to America

Yep, he’s running away. Of course, he claims to go there as his parents wanted. But, we all know the real reason. He is running away from all the betrayal and all the pain and all the hurt.

Nice little scene between mother and son. Salma Hassan gives her senti best.

Now that shit is beyond repair, Dr Shahryar tells Haadi that he would meet Khajista, apologize to her, and ask for her hand in proposal.

Yeah, right!

The Dates are Set

Daar ji, Morey and all are discussing Darakhzai’s nikaah to Khajista. Amroz Khan being the kind and sincere person that he is, suggests that they should ask Khajista if she’s willing for this marriage or not.

Long story short, next Friday nikaah hai. Naye kapre kharid lijiye.

On a Side Note

Who’s this man? I don’t know.

Review

As I said, this is one of the most engaging (albeit slow) drama ever. Hiba is so pretty, yaa!

The performances were great as usual. I enjoyed this one. Off to solve today’s wordle.

So long!
