Meray Humnasheen is a mesmerizing narrative encapsulating the struggle between aspiring dreams, hopes and greed for power.

Khajista is a smart, intelligent girl who belongs to a conservative and traditional family that hails from mountainous areas. Her passion to become a doctor stems from her childhood trauma when she lost her mother early on in life. To revolutionize healthcare services, Khajista is filled with hopes and dreams. On the other hand, Khajista’s cousin Darakhzai is a hot-headed and arrogant man whose backward thinking makes him insecure about Khajista’s higher studies and wishes to keep her under his control.

Coming from an educated and well-off family, Hadi is in his final year of medical school and his composed demeanour makes him highly likeable amongst his batch mates. Studying in the same college, Khajista and Hadi’s first encounter leaves them with mixed feelings for each other.

In a dream of becoming a doctor, will Khajista be able to overcome all the challenges? With constant pressure from her family particularly Darakhzai, will Khajista be able to fulfil her dreams or will she remain caught in the dilemma of love and dreams?

Meray Humnasheen Episode 04 Written Update and Review

Amroz Khan is mad at Khajista for talking to Haadi, and rightly so. Abhi in the previous episode, she was claiming to never forget her roots, and now she is running after a stranger to ask for results. Anywho. When she gives the presents to Shanzay, she isn’t happy.

Don’t try to take my husband to the city. She throws the dress on the floor. Amroz sees this.

Yeh suit aaj sil kar kal pehna hona chahiye.

Sahi hai, lala. Kaash mujhe bhi aise naye naye dresses milte roz 😀

I guess now I know (finally) what Shanzay’s problem is. Khajista does run after Amroz Khan too much. While she might think of Amroz as older brother, they are cousins, and Shanzay has some right to be jealous. She is taking the jealousy too far, that’s a different story. But she has some reason to feel the way she feels. It’s all a big misunderstanding.

Speaking of misunderstandings, we learn why Hassan is so bitter. He feels ignored and unimportant. Sabika had went abroad to study when he was two years old. I guess now he is taking revenge by doing everything exactly the opposite to what Sabika wants. Oh, yeah. He has scored very poorly in the entrance test. That’s what had caused the fervour in the first place.

Haadi to Hassan: Whatever profession you choose, you will have to study. Cowardice will only make you a loser.

Khajista has passed the entrance test. Now, she wants to go to city for medical studies. She begs Daji for permission, and the permission comes from Amroz. This upsets Darakhzai, Shanzay and Daji alike. Daji allows only on one condition: nikaah with Darakhzai.
