A little Recap of Episode 8

Haala is about to get married, but she is not happy

Mere Humsafar Episode 9 Written Update & Review

Haala is about to get married, but she is not happy, nor is Hamza. On the day of wedding, Hamza protests for choosing Naveed for Haala.

What happens next is the most predictable turn of events. What’s our obsession with drama in the mandap? Just before the wedding, the groom’s father puts forth his demands. He also raises a question over Haala’s character. Bas phir, aa gaya hero ko gussa. Phadda hua, and the baraat is kicked out. I understand why Hamza is pissed off. But Raees also takes Hamza’s side. That surprised me.

After a little bit of drama, this case settles once and for all. Raees isn’t perturbed about the whole incident. It’s Shah Jahan who has lost her peace of mind over this. And then there is Haala who gets sick thanks to all this drama. I don’t undertand though.

I don’t like the storyline, I don’t like how four different women are targetting one little Haala. I would still understand why Shah Jahan and Sofia, Sameen and Rumi are against Haala. What’s with that shame of a best friend Shafaq? She always supported Haala, she is against her best friend from the one-sided story.

Since this is a predictable story, I can predict what will happen next. So far, Hamza is sympathizing with Haala for her predicaments. But then, as Adeel said in Shukk: Mujhe tum se hamdardi ho gayi thhi, aur woh mohabbat se bhi zalim hoti hai.

Hamza ko abhi hamdardi hai, baad mein mohabbat hogi. Aur phir tamasha hoga.

I know, why do I watch it? Cuz I don’t like keeping things unfinished.
