Ehraam-e-Junoon Episode 2 Written Update & Review

So, Shanzay is clearly smitten by Shayan. She calls him to bring the right pizza because apparently he delivered the wrong one. Since she’s a regular customer, Shayan’s boss is like: we must humour her.

Shayan still doesn’t give two hoots about Shanzay so she’s like: meko yahi wala hona.

~

Samiya kinda forces Shanzay to meet a guy Asjad. It was lovely to see Annie Zaidi playing the mother of the prospective groom. The important thing is that Asjad is the same guy who Shanzay has seen crying after a girl in a restaurant.

Samiya sends Asjad and Shanzay out on the lawn to talk, and Shanzay tells Asjad: chal bhag.

She doesn’t tell the rea reason she rejected Asjad, though. This gives Ramla a reason to lecture Shanzay.

You never let anyone come near you, and you will remain alone FOREVER.

Ummm, excuse me, but you don’t know the whole truth. I get it. We are supposed to believe that Shanzay rejects boys for no reason. But here, she HAD a reason. That’s all I’m saying.

~

Anywho, so Ramla has had enough of Shanzay’s shenanigans. She’s like, apan dono ab dost nahin hain. And Shanzay is like: koi hota jisko apna, hum apna keh lete…

Shanzay vows to win over a guy just to prove Ramla wrong. And guess what she does?

Calls Shayan to order a pitza.

I’d be thrilled to see where this goes.

Review

Let me admit that I hadn’t expected another episode when I watched the first one (you can read the review here). I wasn’t even too thrilled to watch the drama, and I didn’t even draft 24 episode posts as I usually do, but then I opened YouTube tonight and the first video that stated me in the face was: Ehraam-e-Junoon episode 2.

I was like, no yaaw.

But then I watched it because Tuesdays are free ever since Habs ended (remember that?)

This episode was okay. I mean, there was nothing too exciting, nothing too outrageous. The trio of the love story look all very stunning, but I like Nimra more than Neelum. Sajeela looked so ravishing in that black outfit.

And so did Shani. I don’t even recall why he was standing there looking like a pathan. Yeh topi kuch zyada hi nahin chal rahi Aaj kal? Zobia ke Abba was also wearing it in Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri Episode 1.

Chalo, phir milte hain.
