Fairy Tale Episode 1 Written Update & Review
Assalam Alaikum, people!
It’s your girl Shabana Mukhtar and I’m here to give you the lowdown on the first episode of “Fairy Tale”. Let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster of emotions, mostly because of the main character Ummeed.
Ummeed is a young girl who dreams of becoming rich and famous. She prays on a hilltop, thinking that being closer to the skies will make her closer to Allajh and bring her wishes come true faster. Ummeed, honey, I hate to break it to you, but that’s not how it works. If that were the case, I’d be on top of a skyscraper right now, reading from a long list of things I want.
This scene tells us enough about the heroine-she’s loud, she’s silly, she’s dumb…
Anyway, Ummeed meets a scammer who promises to give her 5 million rupees and 200 grams gold, but she needs to pay an entry fee of thirty-thousand rupees.
And what does our girl do?
She pays it!
It’s like she’s never heard of the phrase “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.” Ummeed, I know you’re desperate for money, but girl, come on!
Of course, the scammer turns out to be a fraud and Ummeed is left in a state of panic. Her family members start shouting and screaming like it’s the end of the world. I mean, yes, it’s a bad situation, but let’s not lose our heads, people.
But then, Ummeed’s college friend gives her a pass to a gameshow, and suddenly all is well again. Ummeed is hopeful that she can win big bucks and live her fairy tale life.
On the other hand, we meet our hero, Farjad Khan. He’s 28, and has been looking after his late-father’s business since he was 22. The responsibilities have turned him into a machine. Now, he is a successful businessman with no time for nonsense. He’s always on the go, and he even has a set routine for his personal life. Who needs spontaneity when you’ve got a schedule, right? But things are about to get a little chaotic for him, I’m sure, as he crosses path with Ummeed in coming episodes.
Overall, the first episode of “Fairy Tale” was entertaining, to say the least. Ummeed may not be the brightest bulb in the box, but she’s certainly entertaining to watch. I can’t wait to see what kind of trouble she gets herself into next. Until then, stay tuned, folks!
Assalam-o-Alaikum everyone!
It’s me, Shabana Mukhtar, your favorite drama reviewer, and I’m back with a review of the first episode of “Fairy Tale” – a Ramzan 1444 special drama on HUM TV. Now, I have to admit, I was a little confused when I first saw the cast and the look of the drama. On one hand, we have Hamza Sohail, who was fantastic as Pir Shahmir in “Badshah Begum.” And on the other hand, we have Sehar Khan, who I simply can’t tolerate.
Let’s start with the good news – Hamza is back, and he looks better than ever! He has a completely different look in “Fairy Tale,” and I have to say, it suits him. He plays the role of a no nonsense businessman, and I have to admit, he nails his part. His acting skills are on point, as always, and he manages to bring life to his character.
Now, let’s talk about Sehar Khan. I have to be honest here; I’m not her biggest fan. I drop many dramas just because of her-Rang Mahal and Farq come to mind right now. I feel that she’s too hyper, too “out there,” and trying too hard. In the first episode of Fairy Tale, I still feel the same way. I hope that in coming episodes, I come to terms with her.
The other actors were okay. I particularly liked Adnan Raza Mir. He reminds of his father and his brother, both.
Overall, the first episode of “Fairy Tale” was quite interesting. The story is unique, and the cast managed to do justice to their roles. The drama has a good pace, and I’m curious to see how the story unfolds. I’m looking forward to the next episode, and I’m hoping that it will be just as good as the first one.
That’s it for now, folks! I hope you enjoyed my review. How did you guys find this episode?
Until next time, happy watching!
