Fairy Tale Episode 26 Written Update & Review
Alrighty, let’s quickly recap this episode. I have little time, so going the summary way for now, hoping to write a detailed review later.
Mimi & AK
Mimi is upset to learn that AK had always been interested in Ummeed. She has had feelings for AK for a while, and learning this breaks her heart.
Ummeed’s ideal partner
Haya and Ummeed are discussing AK’s proposal. Later, she talks about the qualities that she wants to see in her life-partner, qualities that a certain someone has in abundance.
Farjad, that’s who.
Ummeed & Farjad
Ummeed comes to do a tete-tete with AK. AK runs away, but she first runs into Farjad. Farjad falls to the ground, thanks to Ummeed’s slip of leg.
Ummeed helps Farjad get up, and they a moment, we can feel it.
Later, Farjad finally tells Ummeed what he’s meaning to say for a while.
“Don’t marry AK. He’s a flirt,” Farjad says
Ummeed doesn’t pay heed, though.
Niggo tries to calm down Ummeed to no avail.
Ummeed then follows AK to the park. Their conversation was laced with some choice insults and poetry.
Arey Ummeed ji, choriye iss ladayi ko, chhoti si zindagi hai lamba raasta hai
Mujh se Mohabbar kar lo, Khuda ka wasta hai
Or the other one…
Jo miley usey hum kaat lenge
Thodi si khushi thode se gham baan lenge
This park scene impressed me immensely. Ali Safina is a pro, but even Sehar Khan did well in this scene.
A secret is revealed
Mimi tells Farjad that the horse’s painting is actually Ummeed’s gift, and it was painted by Sameer. Farjad heads straight to Ummeed’s place. On the other hand, AK is invited for dinner at Pasha’s household.
When Farjad comes, it is Ummeed who receives him. The scene and the conversation is short but sweet, oh so very sweet.
Pasha’s decision
Pasha rejects AK’s proposal Ummeed, and declared Haya’s wedding with Sameer so Haya wouldn’t do anything stupid as Sameer. This logic might be flawed but this finally resolves one of the long-standing conflicts. So, I’m happy.
Farjad’s reaction
How Farjad smirked when he heard the news, and how he teased AK, it was one of the most brilliant moments of the show.
Ummeed’s new plan
Ummeed now plans to open a small tea stall (aqal thikaney aa gayi). I can’t wait to see what the next episode brings.
Conclusion
As usual, buckets of praises for Ali Safina is charming as usual. Whether it’s AK wooing Ummeed or charming Ummeed’s family, he shines in every scene. Also, Hamza is a gem when it comes to expressing without words, just loved him.
