Jannat Se Aagay
“Jannat Se Aagay” explores the themes of identity, personal aspirations, and the potential consequences of idolizing others. The story follows the journey of Jannat and Tabassum as they navigate their dreams, relationships, and the inherent challenges of discovering their true selves.
Tabassum is a beautiful and compassionate young girl. She selflessly takes care of everyone in her family and even supports them financially by giving tuition to children from her neighbourhood. While she leads a simple life, there is one thing that brings her immense joy and inspiration: watching Jannat’s morning show on television.
Jannat Ali Khan is the host of the morning show that Tabassum adores. She considers Jannat her idol and attempts to emulate her style and mannerisms. On the other hand, Jannat who influences the lives of thousand of such girls with a façade of grandeur is empty on the inside.
Will Jannat be able to fill her inner void? Will Tabassum’s dream to become someone else cause her to lose her own identity? Will Tabassum discover the importance of being true to oneself, or will she get lost in becoming an idealized version of someone else?

Jannat Se Aagay Episode 21 Written Update and Review
Hey there, drama enthusiasts! Shabana Mukhtar here, all set to break down the latest episode of “Jannat Se Aagay”.
Andleeb suggests that Jannat shouldn’t have booked the restaurant in Noman’s name. Jannat is also apprehensive about it but she doesn’t want to hurt Noman’s ego. If buying a restaurant earns his loyalty, Jannat is willing to take to make the excitement.

Tabassum is back to work, which surprises Jannat. The two get to talking. One has only money on the mind while the other one is desperately trying every trick in the book to make her marriage work.
~
Tabassum doesn’t want to eat at home because she has had “elite” food at Jannat’s house. She’s also unable to sleep at Farooq’s house. This worries Farooq to no limits.
~
Jannat is so suspicious of Tabassum that she confronts Tabassum about the designer dupatta. Tabassum brings it, and says it has come from the studio. How did it get to the studio? How was Nammo wearing the same dupatta? Because Tabassum keep bringing it back. What game she is playing? My mind is about to explode.
~
Jannat’s show’s ratings are dropping consistently, I guess because she’s so distracted by a million other things that are running in her head. Does it have to do with the totkas that Tabassum is doing? Taweez, paani, and whatnot.
~
Noman meets Zara, who has left the job, by the way. This man is so dubious. And he acts as if he’s the most righteous and pious man.
Jannat has been fussing over the ratings and how to bring it back while he keeps reminding of the installments and payments for the restaurant. How could he do that to Jannat? To anyone? After everything that she has given him, he’d just divorce her? I hope Jannat is wiser than that and doesn’t give Noman the ownership of the restaurant. But I know I’m against hope hoping. She is stupidly under Noman’s influence.
~
Frustrated, Jannat yells at her team to buckle up and do something to bring the show TRPs back. She also challenges the channel owners to clear her payment and threatens to go to some other channel if her demands are not met.
Woah! Shit is gettin real.
I don’t know about you, but this drama is getting darker and darker, to the point that I don’t even want to watch it. Why can’t we have something like Baraat series? It was fun, it still tackled serious issues and yet struck a balance without becoming too freakin dark. These days all dramas are just weirdly dark. Or they all show the heroines ro be pseudo feminists. I guess I will have to find some content elsewhere.
Until next time, happy drama watching, my friends!
