Why This Drama?
These days, everywhere I go, I see Umera Ahmed. This, and then Dar-e-Nijaat. I’m surprised. She’s writing a lot of dramas these days. Kabhi novel bhi likhein aapi.
Saifi Hassan aka Saifi Bhaiiiii on this blog, is always a favourite. He captures emotions very nicely. And let’s face it, Friday slot that Mawra’s drama Winter Love is free, for Urwa’s drama. That was literally the thought when I watched the first episode. And three weeks later, here I am.
Cast and Characters
Ahsan Khan As Tabish
MMC, narcissict, once married for love but now ignores his wife. Runs a real estate business and now thinking of venturing into politics… and a second family.
I am not capturing any photos. We all know what Ahsan Khan looks like.
Oh, well, let’s compare his looks.
Not just hairstyle and outfits, the skin, facial lines, everything looks different. The makeup and styling department has done a tremendous job. If only Ahsan had adopted a different, heavier tone for older version; this would have been perfect.
Urwa Hocane as Beena
Married Tabish after a toofani ishq and now tries to find the same passion and love. She looks stunning, although made up to look a bit older, still stunning.
Sania Saeed as Maa Ji
Tabish’s mother, supports Tabish wholeheartedly and lowkey criticizesBeena for everything.
Saif Ali Khan as Behraam
A Pathan, fruits and vegetable vendor, leaves all his other customers to attend to Beena. First of all, the name might cause some confusion with Indian Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan but I checked out this dude. He was a software engineer before appearing in Tamasha. I’m impressed. Software engineers bhi kuch na kuch kar hi le rahe hain 😛
