Hum Kahan Kay Sachhay Thay Episode 3 Written Update
Let’s see what the third episode brings to us.
This episode shows us the constrast of truth and lies. Mashal lies to Aswad about Mehreen’s nature, her routine, her behavior. On the other hand, we see Mehreen sharing a strong bond with Saleha, and even her maid.
Mashal goes to unimaginable lengths to ensure that Aswad doesn’t like Mehreen and doesn’t marry her. What she doens’t know is that Mehreen is Aswad’s childhood love, and that love will come back no matter how hard she tries. I mean… This plotline isn’t new to me. I’ve read the novel (read my review in this post ), but it’s so hard to see it on the screen.
I don’t understand why Mashal goes through Mehreen’s stuff and reads her diary. And, that sequence is so unnecessarily stuffed with loud, mind-numbing dmusic. That’s like half of this episode. I don’t wike it. I want to watch this drama, so please no unnecessary shit. Don’t be ARY Digital. Don’t keep loud background score.
Mehreen has won a poster competitions, one of the many hats that she wears. Mashal later rehearses Mehreen’s winning speech. I’m sure she’ll say that to Aswad.
The episode ends as we see Mehreen losing one of her prized posessions – the bird. I don’t know what kind of bird it is. I’m not an ornithologist. And, she still doesn’t have an inhaler. Guess who she calls to get it? Safi! As if she doesn’t know how much drama it will cause. She’s a genius, but only in college. Pagli ladki. Ae pagli ladki…
I love, love, love how the relationship between Mehreen and Saleha is depicted. I also love the young Aswad and young Mehreen. So cute!
Lastly, but both Khan girls are doing a good job portraying their respective roles. And, the credit goes to Umera for writing such brilliant characters.
