Mere Humsafar Episode 34 (Episode 33 Part 2) Written Update & Review

Shah Jahan scolds and beats Rumi. Later, she manipulates an old friend into bringing her son Rameez’s proposal. She’s such a manipulative woman. Neither Raees not Hamza are happy with this decision because they both think that Rumi is too young (they don’t know ki Rumi kitne paani mein hai). Anywho! Rumi snaps that she doesn’t want to marry (here, she doesn’t say that).

Despite Hamza’s repeated insistence, Haala goes on to live with her father. She isn’t happy, though. Even if she’s sulking, she looks so pretty.

Rumi talks to her beau again and pretends to apologize to Shah Jahan. I tell you. Rumi is a good match for Shah Jahan’s manipulations. Jaisi Maan waisi beti. I don’t feel good while saying this line, but that is apt here.

Shah Jahan forgives her daughter, but she also meets the principal and forbids that Rumi step out unless someone from her *family* come to pick her up. I like how helpless Rumi was when she couldn’t leave the college premise. Wallah, maza aa gaya.

Sameen and Khurram meet once. Khurram rants on for several minutes unless Sameen stops him.

“You just apologize to Haala as well,” Sameen tells Khurram.

I love this woman. I never thought she would be so considerate and understanding. I love her, and I respect her.

The last scene of this episode was pure cringe, so I wouldn’t even bring it up here. Let it suffice to say that Shah Jahan is one of the cringiest characters, ever.

Off to watch more cringe in episode 35.
