Kaala Doriya | Episode 19

Introduction

Saima Akram Chaudhry and Danish Nawaz–the writer and director duo who gave us gems like Chupke Chupke (I quite liked it) and Hum Tum (it was hit-n-miss). This duo now brings us another romantic comedy Kaala Doriya.

Kaala Doriya is story of two families who despise each other. The guy and the girl, especially can’t tolerate each other. When they fall in love, all hell breaks loose. Will they be able to cross the hurdles thrown their way by family or will they power through to come together as one? Watch Kaala Doriya to find out.

Drama Kaala Doriya Episode 19 Written Update and Review

This episode begins as Asfi hypothesizes how things would go if he really fell Mahnoor. There are lots of issues and we know things would be difficult.

And OKB looked so handsome in that white kurta pajama. It’s rare that I like OKB for his appearance.

Kaan le gya jalebi chuk ke, that line by Saleeqa and Asfi in unison was so funny!

In a much-expected trip to salon (remember the same scene from Chupke Chupke with Faazi and Meenu), we see Asfi feeling jealous and insecure about Mahnoor and Gauhar.

Rest of the episode was about shaadi. There is jealousy flying everywhere. Mahnoor is jealous about Babli, and Asfi is jealous about Gauhar… Tu tu main main and some banter…

But it couldn’t be complete without some seriousness, right? Shuja isn’t well and Faraz takes him to the hospital. Muneer and Abba Miyan know but they all try to keep things hush hush.

Mahnoor and Tanno are stuck in a dangerous area while the car keys are snatched by the goons. In short, things are senti towards the end.

Ab shuru hoga full-on romance…

This episode belonged to OKB. His tonality was just right. He is generally over and loud but in this episode, he kept it on point. Loved his performance…

Over n out.
