Dastak Mere Dil Pe | Season 1 | Episode 34

Before We Begin

I have been meaning to watch Sen Çal Kapımı for almost a year. The problem is, I found a website which had listed all key events and the detailed article spoiled it for me. I mean, this drama goes through some pretty bizarre twists and turns. Besides, this drama has two seasons. It is never a good idea. I watched Emergency Pyar, and they could not maintain the contniuity of the two seasons.  All I’m saying is, I have my apprehensions about this dizi.

But then, last week, I saw a few Urdu dubbed episodes of the drama, and I thought–why not?

Alright, with the basics established, let get to the episode.

Dastak Mere Dil Pe Episode 34 Written Review & Update

Ceren talks to Engin after the dinner fiasco–the one where Engin left Piril and Ceren to deal with each other. Taunts and insults fly. Long story short, Ceren let’s it slip that Serkan and Eda are in a contract.

Oopsy!

Ceren tells Eda, so our heroine knows about this little “issue”.

At the Holdings, Serkan asks Selin to hand over her shares to Serkan; he doesn’t like Ferit’s interference in the Holdings. Selin and Eda try the cat and mouse game. One thing leads to other, and Eda tells Selin:

“We signed a contract as well. We are getting married as well,” Eda says.

Hande has acted so well as Eda. The way she looks Serkan and then at Selin, uff…

Later, Eda and Selin plan for the wedding and dresses and all. It’s almost as if they are besties. After Selin and Ferit leave, Eda and Serkan bicker as usual.

“I want to stand as far away from you as possible,” Eda says.
“Two moments later, we will be sitting in the same car,” Serkan reminds.
“Two moments with you feels like eternity,” Eda says.

Awnnn! Was that a taunt or reality?

Despite Eda’s best efforts, the news of #EdSer wedding spreads fast. The best part is when Serkan and Engin are left together. Engin brings up the “fake engagement” topic discretely, but Serkan doesn’t understand.. Engin recalls all those moments that hint on a fake relationship. I think he is mighty pissed at Serkan. I don’t know how he would react. But I can’t wait to see that face-off.

Eyden is jealous of Ertikan’s assistant, so she tasks Seyfi to find a pottery teacher (an eye candy). If that wasn’t enough, she gets a call from Eda: Selin and Eda trying bridal outfits together under Eyden’s supervision.

Awesome!

“You’re for Serkan, and Serkan for you,” Eyden tells Eda.

This dress fitting is just a way to make Selin change her mind. Eda finally tells Selin the truth.

“Serkan and I are engaged out of spite… Serkan thinks that you are perfect–intelligent, hard working… I think he likes you,” Eda says.

Later, Eda tries on a pink fru fru dress (I googled it). Serkan praises Eda as “Good as gold” plays in the background.

What an episode! Loved it.
