Missing Darling Episode 12 Written Update and Review
Spoilers ahead, read at your discretion and stop now or forever hold your peace.
A lot of quick discoveries and twists come in this episode which nearly takes us to the conclusion of the case. Roshni, Rane, the guard at Sikandar Khan’s hut are all captured one after the other and interrogated. Rane and Roshni both demand a lawyer (clear cut sign of them being guilty somehow). Also, an IT guy is arrested, the arrest that Owais questions vehemently. Owais also thinks that Sajid is involving others to save Sikandar Khan, not that anybody is paying any attention to him.
On non-investigation front, Sajid reprimands Owais for offering bribe in his brother-in-law’s case (Owais’ brother-in-law is caught with drugs, remember); Sohrab explains why Sajid got Sikandar Khan admitted in the hospital and diverted attention to Qasim Kirmani so the real perps could be caught; Maryam confronts Sohrab and accused him of being soft on Roshni just because of her celebrity status, Sohrab just sighs; and Sajid gets his reprimand call from his boss which is followed by a confrontation from his wife about Mehmal which he categorically denies and she fumes .. All very nice scenes. I particularly liked Omer and his portrayal of Sohrab. He’s so good in dramatic roles as well.
So, Roshni finally admits that “we” all wanted revenge, target was Sikandar Khan, Naina was just a pawn?
A flashback shows how ugly the Roshni-Sikandar breakup was, how affected she was that she couldn’t dub one line, and how determined she was to take revenge.
Uss ne mujhe aziyyat di hai, main yeh aziyyat kabhi nahin bhoolungi.

The expressions on Nausheen’s face. Hell hath no fury for a woman scorned… truly, huh?
As always, fine performances especially Mohib, Omer and Nausheen.
Just side note: Nausheen’s weight fluctuates so much. I was wondering if she has health problems. She plays some of most memorable roles, doesn’t she? Like if I think of Deewar-e-Shab, i can’t NOT think about Nageena and her resilience. I digress. Getting late, have work tomorrow, and two comedy specials to watch.
Salaam!!!
