I don’t know why I am procrastinating these days. It could be because towards the end of certain dramas.m, I just lose all interest watching, reviewing or just saying anything about it. Or, maybe because I’m in a really foul mood on Sunday night. My Monday blues start early.

This was another fast-paced episode which showed us what happened to Naina, especially the night she was murdered and Sikandar Khan is staged to be the murderer. During the investigations, Junaid comes across like a psychopath, not necessarily doing this (murdering Naina) just because he loves Roshni. He seems to have some ulterior motive. He doesn’t flinch at all when making plans about killing a human being as if he’s talking about taking a flight.

But that wasn’t why I liked this episode. I liked it because the loose ends are being tied. Maryam misses her mother’s calls so Amma calls Sohrab. Sohrab, being the nice guy that he is, helps Maryam’s mother. While they are talking, Maryam overhears how Sohrab defends Maryam and all womenkind for being strong, independent and able to work in any field. Impressed? You bet. Baad mein the way Amma probes Sohrab about his “availability” was funny.

Owais’ thread also gets some closure. After bailing out his brother-in-law, Owais expects some gratitude. Wifey and saala try to trash talk to Owais and bro just snaps. Long overdue and truly happy for that closure but his corruption is still not justified. I’d like to see more, maybe Sajid not just reprimanding but also punishing Owais for the corruption.

Finally, the couple. First, Sajid calls Mehmal, apologizes for ever hinting that something is possible and excuses himself. Thodi sher o shayeri bhi huyi but that’s the end of this fling, so to speak. Next morning, he comes clean, explains what happened and how it happened and why it happened. Apologizes, and promises it will never happen again. Very much needed.

Toh, is this drama ending now? Itni jaldeeeeee?
