3. Team Bond

Sohrab gently taunts Owais for something Owais said earlier, and Sajid quickly admonishes Sohrab for not doing his job well. This boss-scolding-subordinate-for-no-reason-at-al theme is consistent throughout the 9 episodes run, and I like it. Even though it reminds me of my own bosses (there are many, and yet our company claims to have a flat hierarchy), it is good to see real world depiction of many aspects of life.

2. Personal Matters

Sajid’s wife was the one who showed a five-year-old picture of Naina and Sikandar Khan. This newlywed is still struggling to find their rhythm. I like how they argue over lunchbox.

1. Investigation

The team learns that Sikandar Khan was lying, at least on the matter that he knew Naina five years ago but claims to have known her only for a year. Naina and another actor, five years ago, were trying to get into the industry. Sikandar Khan asked for Naina’s number and she categorically refused (because she was following instructions), and Sikandar Khan threw tantrums. The other actor, when interviewed by Sajid and Sohrab, suggests that since Sikandar Khan is a guy who hold grudges to his heart, he could have killed Naina over this.

The team also meets Sikandar Khan’s wife Aliya, who has a lot of stories to tell about his anger, abusive nature, and his tiff with several people. Aliya has filed for Khula on the very basis of abuse.

Some progress has been made and we have more discoveries. The team learns about cab rides, and two unofficial cab rides Naina booked, and even seen riding on a motorbike with someone. There are more mysteries than we know so far.

Also, on side note, Maryam is seen sending off two men back with some wise words. It’s not like the team is working on this case exclusively; and the small scene showed that. It also showed that Maryam is capable of handling small things on her own.
