Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri Episode 4 Written Update and Review

Assalam Alaikum dear followers, Let’s recap and review the latest episode of Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri.

The Humiliation

So, Saim has warned Zobia to stay away from him. This upsets Zobia, and she keeps thinking about Saim’s words. The next day, she goes to see Saim, even confesses her love.
Saim: No girl is so negligent. Zobi: No girl is so negligent except she who is in love.
This confession draws a “haaaw” from us, but it doesn’t affect Saim, not in the slightest.
Zobia: Saim, main mar jaaungi Saim: Toh mar jao
Ouch! That’s harsh. If that wasn’t enough, Faiqa also adds her two cents.
Faiqa: I’m not telling your family because you’re so young. Don’t push me.
Disheartened and humiliated, Zobia comes back. ~

The Aftermath

And then the typical (cliched) montage of Zobi falling ill, her family being worried sick, and whatnot. ~

The Regret

Long story short, Saim learns that Shaheer’s accusations against Zobia were baseless, and the text exchage was mostly one-sided, and that Zobia blocked Shaheer’s number once she realized that it wasn’t Saim, but someone else. And thus begins the regret-and-apology phase. Saim tries every trick to talk to Zobi, to say sorry, but she isn’t willing to listen. For one, she’s been hurt real bad. For another, Rushna’s wise words are keeping her sane. But how long can she resist the charm of this guy? Not much longer!

Review

As I have already read the novel and know what’s coming, this episode didn’t excite me much. There are tidbits that are different/summarized/elaborated as compared to the novel, but the overall plot remains the same. Khushhal Khan’s acting surprised me, again. He isn’t just a good looking guy, he knows how to act. I loved the 30 seconds starting at 22:50 (on YouTube). You all know how much I adore Naureen, and she was great as usual. I also like Laila Zubairi. She’s so graceful and her eyes, uff! So long!
