Qarz-e-Jaan Episode 19 Written Update and Review
Ammaar’s New Avatar

We haven’t seen a scene like this before. When Sidra opens up about everything that’s weighing her down, he listens. He has nothing to offer, but his shoulder, to let her cry.
Ammaar to Sidra: I’m here for you.
The Argument
Nashwa takes a stand for her mother, trying to convince Barkat and Bakhtiar of Bisma’s rights. Ammaar is there, just to watch the drama, I guess?
I can’t help but notice how Ammaar jumps to save her from Bakhtiar’s slap. Khud to itni kutt lagi hai baap se, Nashwa ko bachana chah raha hai.
Bisma and Burhan’s tête-à-tête
Bisma to Burhan: Jab insaan akela ho jata hai toh apne saye se bhi darne lagta hai.
My question: how did Burhan come there? Rok tok nahin hai kya? Jab dekho munh uthha ke idhar aa jata hai.
The Couple
Why is Nashwa hanging out with Ammaar, is beyond me.

Ammaar is kinda impressed that Nashwa isn’t scared of Barkat or Bakhtiar. They bicker, as is the norm.
Nashwa: I’ll say no when ammi and Asim uncle get married.
I don’t know why they muted Ammaar’s response: “I’m with you” I even slowed down to 1x speed. The lip moments seemed to be “I’m with you”. However, why would he say that so angrily? If he, as most people assume, used the f-word as is Ammaar’s character, why did Nashwa still sit there? I don’t understand this aspect of Nashwa’s personality. Why is she hanging out with a rapist who’s using cuss words around her. Isn’t she even a tiny bit scared of him?
Best moment:
Sidra’s game to convince Bakhtiar for Bisma and Asim’s wedding.
Sidra to Bakhtiar: If Nashwa goes to live with Asim and family, nobody would be able to save you and Ammaar from police.
And then Bakhtiar agrees. We don’t hear his terms and conditions to Nashwa but that’s the suspense right? Who’s the better player, Bakhtiar or Nashwa?
P.S. I’m not glorifying Ammaar. He’s clearly the lead of the story and I’m just noticing his role is so well written.
