Introduction
Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.
Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.
On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.
Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.
Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

So, here goes. Let’s meet the cast and characters first.
Tere Bin Episode 2 Written Update and Review
Saima, the househelp at Meerub’s house is suffering domestic abuse. Meerub being the rebel that she is, takes the matter on the street. She is beating Saima’s husband with a danda when Murtasim and Anwar reach Karachi. Murtasim is mighty pissed. He Meerub away from the crowd and shoves her in the back seat of the car.
~
At Waqas’ home, we see the drama unfold. Anwar yells at Waqas and Aneel for not looking after Meerub. Meerub does “badtameezi” as she responds on her parents’ behalf. Murtasim and Meerub clearly hate each other, and that just sets the stage for a nice “hate to love” romance.
~
Bhabhi Begum, Anwar and Murtasim discuss Meerub. Anwar suggested asking Meerub to move back to haveli but Murtasim suggested her wedding. That makes sense, right? Little does he know that his suggestion would become a hinderance for himself.
~
Meerub and family came to haveli. Meerub apologized to Anwar (her real father). She runs into Murtasim and we see an exchange of witty repartee.
~
Haya repeatedly and unabashedly confesses her love for Murtasim. Our hero doesn’t like it. He scolds Haya who then lashes at Meerub… as if Meerub cares. Meerub hates Murtasim more than anyone else.
~
Bhabhi Begum reminds Waqas of his’ promise, told him to bring Meerub back for her birthday.
Now back in Karachi, Meerub is with her friends celebrating her birthday when Murtasim calls her. She hangs up. Murtasim barges in to the party and dragged Meerub out. How did he knew where she is? Just miracle I guess… By the way, Murtasim has humiliated Rohail, and that will come back and bite Murtasim sooner or later.
~
Next, we see Meerub’s birthday celebration at haveli. Salma Begum gives her gold bangles to Meerub and and annouces the engagement of Murtasim and Meerub.
Haw!
Review
Yumna makeup was quite loud. Also, I must appreciate Farhan Agha; he generally plays comic roles but he shines in the serious roles. He is the best so far.
