Yeh Dil Mera | Episode 9 | Would Amaan Attack Aina?

Before you proceed, may I request you to read about the characters and previous episodes’ reviews here. It will help you understand the story better. Unless you know it already 🙂

PLOT SUMMARY & COMMENTARY

What is that place where they are meeting? It looks scary… The camera angles also incite a creepy feeling. I am a big fattu, of you haven’t noticed already.

Anyway, so Farooq tells Amaan his version of story, clarifying that Aina isn’t psychotic. Amaan ensures that he doesn’t find her abnormal. Bhai, you are also abnormal.

Amaan is quite smooth player… He takes Aina out and also asks Farooq for permission, gaining more brownie points.

Farooq agrees but Ali Bakhsh does not like it. When he tries to talk to Farooq about Amaan, Farooq insults him, reminding him of his place.

Aina is wearing the locket that Amaan has gifted and she has put his and Farooq’s photos together. It upsets him and he leaves the restaurant immediately. Abnormal, told you, didn’t I?

Amaan meets Sahira and asks for a proof of her marriage to Farooq. This alliance will not go down well. I have a bad feeling about this. I guess we all do.

Again, what’s with the camera angle? Was he video recording the meeting?

The next scene shows the two of them together, again in the same dress they were wearing when they went out for lunch. Obviously the two scenes were shot together and edited separately. I feel that the show doesn’t have a good budget.

So, he cooks for her and feeds her. Bro, khana aise phoonk ke nahin khate.

The episode ends on a note that threatens that Amaan would attack her. Chances are less that he will get through and it seems more like faux cliffhanger to keep us hooked. We are already hooked. There was no need to do this, but anyway.

That is my commentary on 9th episode of Yeh Dil Mera. What did you feel about this episode?
