Yunhi Episode 23 Written Update & Review
Assalam Alaikum, fellow drama lovers! It’s time for another recap and review of the latest episode of “Yunhi”. And let me tell you, this drama is getting better and better.
I will keep this short, because… too tired to type a long review.
Daniyal’s outburst
Let’s start with the scene where Daniyal asks Basharat for college fee, and he is unncessarily rude for no reason. Kim, being Kim, admonishes Daniyal.
Daniyal: Tum chup raho.
Dawood slaps Daniyal and I was like: finally, finally. Gif
He has been misbehaving with Kim for the past few episodes and this was long overdue. Dil vich thand pai gayi.
Kim and Zulfi
Zulfi invites Kim for lunch and she agrees.
My first reaction was like: when would Kim learn that meeting a namehram like this isn’t permissible in Islam? But I think the makers aren’t really going for that angle here. Dawood ko dadhi wala dikhaya na. mehram na mehram ki baat cherne ki zaroorat nahin. Zulfi’s tenant Azra, for instance, is living there after her husband passed away. Zulfi could have married her, no? Instead of calling her munh boli behen, he could have married her and given her the “sachhi wali biwi” status. I mean, Iqbal and Zulfi’s love story aside , wouldn’t that make more sense? You might not like my reasoning but I’m listening to Mufti Tariq Masood daily, and his words have started to impact me. Yeh munh bole rishte kuch nahin hote.
Beherhaal, so Kim asks Dawood to drop her at Zulfi’s house. Dawood does so even though he states that he doesn’t like Zulfi. Kim and Zulfi wait for Dawood to join them for lunch, but he doesn’t. Also, Kim meets Azra, goes to nose piercing. I so want to do that. I mean I have my nose pierced but my nose ring falls every time I buy a new one. Sigh!
And Azra tells about Iqbal and Zulfi. Now, Kim has another love story to meddle with. Hasn’t she learned her lesson yet? She helped Suraiya, and how did that end up?
Kim and Dawood
There was a short scene between these two and we see that Kim is still confused about her feeling and Dawood has realized how exactly he feels. Sweet!
That’s my take on the episode. What did you think of this episode?
