Introduction

Pehli Barish Episode 13 Written Update and Review

Now that Nimra and Maleeha have both categorically refused to entertain even the thought of Maani, Maani is heartbroken.

“I caused Mama insult and hurt.”

I still can’t believe that Dania did what she did just to win Maani’s heart and to spend time with him.

Maani then calls Behzad and apologizes to him for being upset with him. Badi hi koi sweet si dynamic hai in dono ki.

There was a tear-jerker scene between Nimra and Maleeha. Bleh.

Behzad and Zehra discuss the incident, and obviously discuss Nawal as well.

~

Hashir comes to see Nimra (kuch zyada hi nahin aata in ke ghar akele) and suggests that Mohid etc would be invited for dinner at “his” house. Nimra acts rudely, and rightly so.

Later, she discusses the situation with Maleeha. All she wants is that people (her own father and mother) trear Maleeha right, with some respect.

Dania comes to talk to Zehra and confesses that she went only to win Maani’s heart. And guess what? Maani overhears this, scowls and regrets it later. Bacha baba.

Tota Maina talk about their respective kids and I can’t say how annoyed I am that they don’t know YET ki aapas mein hi rishtedaari hone wali hai.

Maleeha weeps and Behzad asks to meet. Maani overhears and follows. And then comes the shock.

Awesome revelation and sudden twist. Nobody, NOBODY at the restaurant even looks up at the slap. I’ll be honest, slap banta thha. Maani was really rude.

Agitated, Maani repeatedly calls Nimra’s phone but she doesn’t pick up, which only irks Maani more. At home, he tells Zehra to “look after papa, not me”.

Maani investigates Behzad (nicely written and executed).

Next morning, Maani brings up the same topic (he’s relentless and I like it). Tota Maina talk again, and Behzad asks if she’d refuse Maani’s proposal for Nimra just because… Hau, she says.

Love Behroz’s lehriyedaar baal. And his acting.
